Leaf Rapids!! Yay.. i call it my hometown. I wasnt really there all my life, but thats okay,
its still my hometown. I moved there when i was in grade 2. I think it was the year after that big forest fire n people had
to go somewhere else n stuff. Damn. I lived with my aunty for a lil while. Maven lived across from here, and it was cool. Then
i think i lived with my cuzins for a lil? Im not sure. Then i moved in to a town house. "Leaf Grove" Lol, aw, i miss
it, haha. I member the cupboards were like, orange i think, lol. Then i moved in to a house, but we were renting it. "Utik
Bay". Then i moved in a bigger house, and it was ours, not rented. "Mukasew Bay". Leaf was the bestest ever. Well it was back
in the day when you were allowed to wear mis-match clothes. Its kinda crazy now, im not sure, i havent been back there for
a year and 2 (going on 3) months. My mom wont let me go back. But the school and the "mall" was connected. During recess n
stuff, it was 15 mins, and we jus went 'up town' and hung around n got munches n stuff. The school was from Kindergarten to
grade 6 downstairs, and grade 7 to 12 upstairs. Not many people, but that was cool, bcuz you got better help, and things were
jus all together easier. Everyone knew everyone, and you wouldnt get beaten up bcuz of giving a dirrty look that you didnt
kno you gave. Well now it might happen, but not like 2 years ago when i was there, and stuff. Alotta lil stores in the town
centre shut down. No bank, no arena, i dunno about the curling rink. Theres a youth centre there with all these games
n shit. And me and a few other friends helped 'build' it. There was allotta ppl helping at first, but then they didnt,
and we did alotta it. And we painted n stuff, and our hand prints are everywhere and there was a wall to write you name, then
people jus started writting a buuncha stuff, and we had to paint over it. I suppose its kinda like the BG here or something.
Then theres 2 resturants, yum. Post office. Exibition Centre. Co-op (Greocery store) and there was a Co-op 2 down town, with
gas n stuff. Public Library, school library. Pharmacy. Hospital. Elevator (but that was kinda jus for carrying things that
you cant get down the stairs). There was all that impotant buiness stuff there too, but i dunno what it was for. Lol. Big
gym, lil gym. That was all in the town centre. There was 6 bays, and apartments, and town houses, and churches, and gas stations,
and police station, and fire station, and 'pump house' lol, and the mine. Which is what pretty much closed Leaf down. The
mine closed so everyone moved. Including me, and it killed me. The day i moved, i went for a walk around town, and i took
pictures and sat around, and visited people. At Rat RIver (the kinda half way point to here and Leaf) me and my sis spray
painted our names on the rocks in Yellow and Red, it was cool. My aunty moved here too. Ugh.. miss Leaf and all the
lil memories there. Well.. heres some pictures of Leaf <3
